By using The Fragrantist, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site. We may update these terms from time to time, and continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.

The Fragrantist is a price comparison and discovery site for fragrance decants and full bottles. We don’t sell fragrances, hold inventory, ship products, or process payments. Every purchase you make happens directly on the retailer’s own site, under that retailer’s own terms. We’re not a party to that transaction, and we don’t guarantee the products, shipping, or customer service of any listed store.

You don’t need an account to browse or compare prices. An account is required for features like saved collections, price alerts, and reviews. You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for any activity under your account. You must be 13 or older to create an account, and you confirm this when you sign up.

You’re responsible for keeping your account information accurate. If we have reason to believe an account belongs to someone under 13, or was created with false information, we may suspend or delete it.

When using The Fragrantist, you agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the site without our written permission
• Post fake, misleading, or paid-for-without-disclosure reviews
• Attempt to manipulate price rankings, search results, or recommendation algorithms
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any store or brand
• Use the site for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could damage, disable, or impair it
• Upload malicious code or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

When you post a review, photo, or other content, you keep ownership of it, but you grant us a license to display, distribute, and use it on The Fragrantist, including in aggregated or anonymized form. Reviews are public by default. If you delete your account, your reviews stay up but are anonymized rather than removed, so the accuracy of the community database is preserved for other users.

Reviews should reflect your own genuine experience. We may remove content that’s fake, defamatory, off-topic, or violates someone else’s rights.

We pull pricing and stock data directly from listed retailers and refresh it regularly, but we don’t control those stores’ systems, and prices or availability can change between our last update and the moment you click through. Always confirm the final price and stock on the retailer’s own site before completing a purchase. We’re not responsible for pricing errors, stock discrepancies, or issues with an order once you leave The Fragrantist, those are between you and the retailer.

Some stores are marked Partner Store because we have an affiliate relationship with them and earn a commission on purchases made through our links, at no extra cost to you. Partner status never changes which store is shown as the best price or where a store appears in comparisons, rankings are based on price, availability, and store quality signals only. The Fragrantist’s design, branding, original written content, and underlying technology belong to us. Fragrance names, brand names, and product images belong to their respective owners and are used for identification and comparison purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute our content or technology without permission.

The Fragrantist is provided “as is.” We work to keep pricing, stock, and fragrance information accurate, but we don’t guarantee it’s complete, current, or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we’re not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, including issues with a purchase made through a third-party retailer.

You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where reasonably possible. Sections of these terms that by their nature should survive termination, like intellectual property and limitation of liability, will continue to apply.

We may update these terms as the site evolves. We’ll update the date at the top of this page when we do, and for material changes, we’ll make a reasonable effort to notify users directly.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which The Fragrantist is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles. This section will be finalized once that jurisdiction is confirmed with counsel.
